If gliding through scenic woodlands offering breathtaking views of Lake Superior, on an island, sounds like your idea of skating heaven, the Apostle Islands inline is the perfect event for you.

This unique inline race has something for every skating enthusiasts and skill level, including a full marathon, a little more than a half-marathon, (ALMT), and a fun race. The 8.7-mile looped course features a combination of lats, curves, straightaways and two hairpins turn. Skating on an island on the shores of the greatest of the great lakes, Lake Superior is a vacation in itself. That’s why this race is otherwise known as the Vacation Destination Inline Marathon in the country!
